85th Birthday Celebration Walkathon

Donned with visors and buttons bearing the Shriners Hospitals name, over 350 people walked, used wheelchairs, wagons or strollers at our 85th Birthday Celebration Walkathon.  A simple, yet festive BBQ was held in the hospital’s backyard with clowns, lively music, face painting, volleyball and a roving magician.  The participation was well over what was expected being the first time we held a walkathon.  Nearly $17,000 was raised.
