Making Bequests
Charitable gifts by wills or bequests may be right for you. Many leading charitable institutions of America have been built not only by the wealthy, but by the bequests of thousands of people with various means.
In fact, it might be said that most middle-income Americans can only make their ultimate charitable gifts at the end of their lifetimes. After providing for family and friends, some donors choose to specify that all or a portion of their estate be distributed to Shriners Hospitals for Children®. Changing tax laws offer new opportunities for our donors to benefit their families through charitable planned giving which may result in tax savings of income, inheritance or estate taxes.
A bequest also gives you the enormous satisfaction of knowing your assets will be expressed in perpetuity by providing ongoing support to a cherished cause.
